The Rally To Restore Sanity
The energy that got me to the rally is gone. I am exhausted. But what an incredible experience. I am more optimistic about this county than I have been in a long time. To see so many people coming together for sanity was wonderful.

The Rally - live from the Mall
OK, so Comedy Central is showing this live. Holy Smokes - Yusef is here live (that is a true surprise), then Ozzy Osbourne, and now the O’Jays.
The crowd is huge and I love how this is going down with both Stewart and Colbert in character - love the polka dotted pants Colbert has on.
Kerry, this has got to be a HOOT! Well worth the price of “admission.”

There’s a possibility that I might get some epic chopper photos in a little bit. There has been smoke for like 45 minutes and it’s coming and going, because it’s still slightly windy. About 10 minutes ago I could see flames that were at least 30 feet high. I drove back there on a golf cart and tons of underbrush is scorched.

This afternoon after class, I was sitting on our hill in a giant field with my dog just chillin in the 50 mph wind and soaking up the sun.
