Sublime - Badfish
April 2010
It got into the low eighties today and I’ve been like coming out of hibernation and stuff, which is why I haven’t been online. It’s beautiful outside, but it just feels like we are going to skip over spring and the 70’s altogether.
Also, I’m going to plot out my garden and till the land next week I think, just to get it all ready. From buying so many vegetables lately I know that I need to plant a lot of tomatos. I can’t believe how expensive they are. I’m going to look into grapes too. Do you know if you can just plant them, or do they need to establish vines first? I want to plant an apple and pear tree too, but that will probably take years to pay off. :-(
Something interesting to note too, I pulled out my moms old juicer from like 15 years ago and have been drinking juice the past 2 weeks, about twice a day. It’s weird that other than the ice cream I had the other day, I’ve made everything I’ve eaten or drank. I feel so much better, and I’m drinking like a bunch of celery, 6 apples, and like 4 carrots a day. I think that plus the cooking, has probably been doing my body awesome. I don’t weigh myself, so I don’t know if I’ve lost weight (5 lbs wouldn’t surprise me), but I feel looser if that makes any sense. It might be all the physical activity though too. If you have a juicer and have forgotten about it, you should whip it out again.
Again, sorry if I’m boring you because I’ve haven’t posted much. I just need to get this out of my system right quick. The winters here are very long, and this sun and air feels like medicine almost.

I like to read “foreign” news sources, such as Al Jazeera, Asia Times, and Pravda just to get a different point of view from what our government says and our mainstream media says.
Here’s an interesting one from Pravda regarding the US Government hypocrisy on human rights abuses:

It is amazing that after all these years of archaelogical expeditions there are still new discoveries. Here’s yet another fascinating one:

Mama said there’ll be days like this.
