Leaving Iraq?
What does “the US military is planning on leaving Iraq” really mean?
According to this article at Raw Story, what it really means is the US military forces are “officially” leaving, to be replaced by 5,000 private contractors. Needless to say Xie (formerly Blackwater) WANTS to go back so they can continue to provide services to “customers.”
It is particularly jarring to hear people in their own country (meaning the Iraqis) being referred to as “customers” of war.
So, we are leaving but we aren’t really leaving. We, the American citizens and taxpayers will be forced to keep footing the bill for death and war while we supposedly can’t “afford” to take care of the people in our own DAMNED country.
The realization hit me years ago, when it comes to the religious concept of life and death (or heaven and hell, if you will) that perhaps life on earth, having to deal with corrupt, greedy, and authorities who only care about themselves might really be what hell is (in other words life as we currently know it) and that heaven is finally being released from this miserable existence.
I apologize if I’m ranting and raving and bumming people out but I am just so emotionally and mentally tired of this SOS day after day, year after year, decade after decade. We humans, without a doubt, are the most stupid and worthless animals in all of known creation.
